About Me

I’m Antonis, a BI & Analytics Engineering Consultant based in Athens, currently working with the European Commission (CINEA).

I help organizations turn data into decisions that actually drive business impact, focusing on building end-to-end analytics solutions from data modeling and pipelines to business-facing reporting.

Alongside consulting, I design and teach data analytics programs, helping professionals understand how data works inside real organizations, not just in theory.

From Jan 21’ to Mar 24’I was a co-leader at the Athens Tableau User Group organising interesting Tableau related events, sharing tips for the tool and meeting great people.

International Hellenic University: Data Analytics in Modern Corporate Business

To fulfill my mission, I designed the Data Analytics in Modern Corporate Business course for International Hellenic University. This comprehensive program is crafted to provide participants with essential skills and hands-on experience in data analytics within a corporate setting. Participants engage in a real-world scenario that replicates a corporate data environment. From setting up data pipelines with PostgreSQL and BigQuery to automating ETL tasks with Python and creating dashboards, this simulation ensures hands-on, practical learning.

Education

I’ve studied Maths at Department of Mathematics - Aristotle University (Thessaloniki, Greece) and then I had my MSc on Applied Informatics - International Hellenic University (Serres, Greece).

June 21, 2023, I had the pleasure of participating in the AI and Beers meetup in Thessaloniki, a vibrant gathering that brings together AI enthusiasts, developers and data professionals over insightful talks and casual networking. The event provided an excellent platform to discuss real-world applications of data analytics with SQL and Python and share experiences.

Talent Days 2025 by linq is a premier career development event scheduled for April 5–6, 2025, at the Zappeion Hall in Athens. Tailored for recent graduates and early-career professionals with up to four years of experience, the event offers a dynamic platform to connect with over 50 leading companies and industry experts.

Presented “Exploring the Role in Data landscape: A focus on the Data Analyst” in which we covered what being a Data Analyst is really like, beyond the job descriptions.
Pariticpated in a panel discussion in which we’ll covered topics such as starting a career in Data Science & AI and skills that actually matter in the real world.

Visited Amsterdam 🇳🇱 at World Data Summit (21-23 May 2025), joined an amazing community of data people and tech wizards. This event brings together leading experts, innovators and influencers from around the world to explore the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the data landscape.
